OFFICIAL RULES FOR THE KING 5 SUMMER SUNSET PHOTO CONTEST

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. YOU MUST HAVE INTERNET ACCESS PRIOR TO THE START DATE OF THE CONTEST. ELIGIBILITY: You must be a legal resident who is twenty-one (21) years of age or older living in Washington State. Void where prohibited by law. Employees, temporary employees, independent contractors and interns KING 5, Belo Corp., Argosy Cruises and each of their respective subsidiaries, parents, partners, other Contest sponsors, advertising and promotional agencies (hereinafter "Contest Providers") and the immediate family members of each, and any persons living with, any such employees are not eligible to enter or to win. The term "immediate family members" includes spouses, parents, grandparents, siblings, children, and grandchildren. Winners of previous KING 5 Contest or contests are not eligible to win another KING 5 Contest or contests within a 90-day period.

BY ENTERING THIS CONTEST, YOU AGREE TO THE BELO PRIVACY POLICY AND THAT YOUR ENTRY AND THE PERSONAL INFORMATION COLLECTED FROM YOU IN CONNECTION WITH THIS CONTEST WILL BE SHARED WITH THE CONTEST PROVIDER, KING 5.

This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook. You are providing your information to KING 5 and not to Facebook. The information you provide will only be used for marketing purposes by KING 5.

HOW TO ENTER: To enter, visit the KING 5 Weather Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/KING5Weather) or the KING 5 News Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/KING5News), click the Summer Sunset photo tab, register, and complete an entry form with the required information, including your name, address, telephone number, email address, and photo caption; and submit along with your photograph. Each Submission consists of an entry form and a single image. You may enter the contest (1) time daily; however, each photo may only be entered once for the duration of the Contest. Each entry must comply with the following requirements (the "Photo Requirements"). You must register to submit a photo and / or to participate in the voting process.

PHOTO REQUIREMENTS: Photographs must be in digital format. Only online entries will be eligible. No print or film submissions will be accepted for entry into this Contest. All digital files must be in JPEG (.jpg) format. The photograph, in its entirety, must be a single work of original material taken by the Contest entrant. The photograph must have been taken in the state of Washington in the year 2013. By entering the Contest, entrant represents, acknowledges, and warrants that the submitted photograph is an original work created solely by the entrant, that the photograph does not infringe on the copyrights, trademarks, moral rights, rights of privacy/ publicity or intellectual property rights of any person or entity, and that no other party has any right, title, claim, or interest in the photograph.

The photograph must not, in the sole and unfettered discretion of the Contest Providers, contain obscene, provocative, defamatory, sexually explicit, or otherwise objectionable or inappropriate content or in violation of king5.com's Terms of Service. The caption must be complete and accurate, sufficient to convey the circumstances in which the photograph was taken. Disguising or misrepresenting the origin of your content is cause for disqualification. By making a Submission, each Contestant consents to the use of his or her Photo(s), Submission(s), name, likeness, etc. by Contest Providers or Sponsor for promotional purposes in connection with the Contest (whether online, in print or through any other media now known or hereafter developed), without additional compensation and unless prohibited by law.

Contest Providers will not verify receipt of Submissions for Contestants. Contest Providers are not responsible for lost, late or misdirected Submissions. MULTIPLE ENTRIES WILL BE ACCEPTED FOR THE DURATION OF THE CONTEST.

ENTRY DEADLINE: The contest starts at 7:00 PM PDT on Monday, August 19, 2013 and ends at 7:05 PM PDT on Monday, September 2.

The sole determinant of time for the purposes of the Contest will be Belo's third-party provider located in the Pacific daylight time zone. (PDT) Participants entering close to the posted deadline do so with this information in mind. No responsibility is assumed by KING 5, Belo Corp., their respective subsidiaries, parents, partners, or other Contest providers for lost, late, misdirected, or illegible entries or for any computer, online, telephone or technical malfunctions that may occur. Entries will be declared made by the authorized account holder of the e-mail address submitted at the time of entry. "Authorized account holder" is defined as the natural person who is assigned to an e-mail address by an Internet Access provider, online service provider, or other organization (e.g., business, educational institution, etc.) that is responsible for assigning e-mail addresses for the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address. All entries become the property of Contest Providers and will not be returned to the Participant. All entries must be submitted from a valid e-mail account that may be identified with a natural person by appropriate independent means, including, without limitation, reverse domain name search. Potential winner may be requested to provide Contest Providers with proof that the potential winner is the authorized account holder of the e-mail address associated with the winning entry.

FAN VOTING: Each Photo will be viewable on the KING 5 News Facebook page tab and on king5.com during the public voting period - beginning Monday August 26, 2013 at 7:05 PM PDT and ending Monday, September 2, 2013 at 7:05 pm (the "Fan Voting Period"). The public fan vote will determine the winner of the Royal Argosy grand prize package. You must register to vote. Limit one (1) vote per person per Facebook user, per day for the entire Fan Voting Period. Any person voting more than one (1) vote daily for the Fan Voting Period will disqualify that person's votes for the Finalist. Contest Providers are not responsible for any technical/quality issues of the Submissions. The Submission receiving the highest number of fan votes will be deemed the grand prize winner (the "Grand Prize Winner.)

PRIZE DESCRIPTION: One (1) winner will receive a guest certificate for two tickets on board the Royal Argosy Dinner Cruise. Must book cruise ahead of time. Guest certificate expires May 31, 2014. (Value $200)

WINNER SELECTION: Winner will be announced on Wednesday, September 4, 2013 at KING Broadcasting, 333 Dexter Avenue N. Seattle WA 98109 . The winner will be deemed by the highest number of fan votes from all qualified entries received by the Fan Voting Deadline. In the event of a tie, the winner will be selected by a random drawing of the tied entries. Winner announcement will be made by Contest Providers, whose decision shall be final. The winner will be notified by e-mail on Wednesday, September 4, 2013. If the winner is unreachable after two (2) business days, the entry with the next highest number of votes will be declared the winner. In order to be named a winner, potential winners may be required to execute and return an Affidavit of Eligibility/Prize Acceptance Form/ Release of liability upon accepting a prize. Noncompliance will result in disqualification and an alternate winner will be selected.

USE OF CONTEST INFORMATION: Notwithstanding any contrary provision in any of Contest Providers' respective privacy policies, Participants grant to Contest Providers, and Contest Providers reserve, the right to use any and all information related to the Contest, including information provided by Participants in connection with the Contest, for marketing purposes or any other purpose, unless prohibited by law. By entering, participants release and hold harmless Contest Providers, Facebook, their respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, directors, officers, employees, and agents from any and all liability for any injuries, loss or damages of any kind arising from or in connection with the Contest or any prize won. Restrictions, conditions and limitations apply.

CONDUCT: By entering the Contest, you agree to be bound by the Official Rules. The Official Rules will be posted on the king5.com Community page throughout the Contest. Participants further agree to be bound by the decisions of the Contest Providers, which shall be final and binding in all respects. Contest Providers reserve the right at their sole discretion to disqualify any individual they find to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Web site; or to be acting in violation of the Official Rules. You agree that in your participation in the Contest you will not use obscene, libelous or slanderous language, or language that infringes upon a third party's trademark, trade name or other intellectual property right or right of privacy. You agree to indemnify and hold harmless KING 5, king5.com, Belo Corp.,, and officers, consultants, agents, and employees against and from all claims, damages liabilities, costs and expenses asserted by third parties alleging that the Contest includes obscenity, libel, slander, or infringes upon the third party's intellectual property or privacy rights, as a direct result of your actions in connection with the Contest. You further agree to not knowingly damage or cause interruption of the Contest or to prevent others' participation in the Contest.

CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT BY A PARTICIPANT OR ANY OTHER INDIVIDUAL TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE BELO WEB SITES OR TO UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE CONTEST IS A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS, AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, CONTEST PROVIDERS RESERVE THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES FROM ANY SUCH PARTICIPANT TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY: Winners assume liability for losses or injuries caused or claimed to be caused by participating in the Contest, or by the acceptance, possession, use of, or failure to receive any prize. Contest Providers are not responsible: (i) for any lost, late, incomplete or misdirected entries; or (ii) for any incorrect or inaccurate information in the Contest Rules or for any technical or human error that may occur in the processing of submissions in the Contest. Contest Providers assume no responsibility for an error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction of authorized access to, or alteration of, entries. Contest Providers are not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer online systems, servers or providers, computer equipment, software, failure of email or players on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any Web site or combination thereof, including injury or damage to participants or to any other person's computer related to or resulting from participating or downloading materials in the Contest. If the Contest is not capable of running as planned for any reason, including legal restrictions, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control of Contest Providers that corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the Contest, Contest Providers reserve the right to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Contest.

RULES / WINNERS LIST: Official Rules and the name of the winners may be obtained by sending a self addressed, stamped #10 envelope to: KING 5 ATTN: Ryan Subica Indicate "King 5 Summer Sunset Facebook Photo Contest Rules Request" or "King5 Summer Sunset Facebook Photo Contest List" on the outside of the envelope as applicable. Limit one (1) request per envelope. The request must include the name of the Contest.
