To enter for a chance to win a $1000.00 (one thousand dollar) certificate towards a Lake Powell Vacation, you must “Like” Water Use It Wisely on Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/WaterUseItWisely) enter your first name, last name, email, and zip code. All entrants will then need to upload a personal photo taken in the state of Arizona, showcasing their best picture of water in its natural element. The image must be under 5mb, jpeg format, contain the location and a short description of how that image celebrates water. One (1) submission will be permitted per email address.  

By entering, the submitted photo will be made available for Water – Use It Wisely to use on its website, social media channels or in presentations to promote the celebration of Arizona water and the contest (photographer will be given credit).

The photo submitted should convey the overall contest theme of Celebrate Arizona Water using these general guidelines:

Photos Should:
    Depict any natural water setting in Arizona or demonstrate the smart reuse of water (wetlands, recharge sites).
    Show the value of water in Arizona.
    Illustrate the importance of water to people.

Photo Should Not:
    Depict water waste or wasteful practices.
    Include any fountains unless they use reclaimed water and fountains cascade rather than spray into the air.
    Include swimming pools.

Entrants can also submit online under the same conditions at wateruseitwisely.com/celebrateazwater until Monday, May 5, 2014 at 11:59am MST.

A per-determined panel of judges will choose the winner based on all images submitted: odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received. Winner will be selected by said panel on or about Friday, June 13, 2014. The panel will take into consideration how closely the submitted images and descriptions represent a celebration of water in Arizona. Submissions without a description will not be considered. Once notified, winners have 3 business days to respond, or risk forfeiting the prize.

The $1000.00 (one thousand dollar) certificate towards a Lake Powell Houseboat Vacation is subject to date availability: does not include inbound and outbound travel to Lake Powell, damage deposits, insurance waivers, taxes, energy surcharges, infrastructure development, program fees, gratuities, NPS gate fees or fuel. The certificate is non-transferable and/or not valid for re-sale purposes. Reservations must be made by the individual whom the certificate is addressed. A form of legal identification must be provided upon redemption to ensure validity.
